How TFD Adventure Co. began...
My passion for boating and being on the water began before my first daughter was born in 1989. As a family, two daughters, one son and my wife, our fondest memories were cruising the water together.
Today, my passion has only grew and in 2011 I decided to obtain my USCG 50 Ton Master Captain's license.
Late 2011, I launched my first charter business in luxury, intimate charter cruises as Beau H20 Excursions on a 32'' Carver Voyager. My son, Nic, joined me on a majority of our Lake Michigan cruises as my first mate during his summers away from school. Now as he graduates college with a B.A. in Business, he also has obtained his USCG Captain's License and we've joined together as father and son under The Flying Dutchman Adventure Co. As a team, we bring a wealth of experience and passion to provide safe, private charters for any occasion in beautiful Western Michigan. There just isn't anything like a Michigan summer. Join us in Saugatuck/Douglas this summer, 2019!
